🥣 Simple Bangladeshi Breakfast: Paratha with Egg Bhuna (Fried Egg Curry)

 


📝 Ingredients:

For Paratha (Makes 4):

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Warm water (as needed)

For Egg Bhuna:

  • 3 boiled eggs

  • 1 large onion (finely sliced)

  • 1 tomato (chopped)

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 3 tbsp oil

  • Fresh coriander (optional)


👩‍🍳 Preparation:

🍽️ Paratha:

  1. Mix flour, salt, and 2 tbsp oil.

  2. Gradually add warm water to form a soft dough.

  3. Divide into balls, roll into flat circles.

  4. Fry each side on a pan with a little oil until golden brown.

🍳 Egg Bhuna:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden.

  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato, and all spices. Cook until oil separates.

  3. Add boiled eggs and cook gently for 5–7 minutes.

  4. Garnish with fresh coriander if desired.


Serving Suggestion:

Serve warm parathas with hot egg bhuna and a cup of milk tea or black tea. A perfect start to a Bangladeshi morning!
